Medicine the way it should be.
Meet the doctor and philosophy behind Web of Life Wellness Center.
Who We Are
We are a team of licensed, experienced, uncompromising professionals focused on you — your goals, your health, your desires.
Wellness medicine is based on the belief that health is more than the absence of disease and that each of us can achieve our own unique state of optimal health and vibrant well-being. Often called holistic, alternative, complementary, and now integrative medicine, this approach seeks to treat and prevent illness as well as enhance well-being with therapies that do more than just suppress symptoms.
This philosophy sees all aspects of our lives as interconnected — the physical, the emotional, the mental, the spiritual, the social, the environmental, the global, and even the universal. Any positive change in one of these areas will positively impact the others. The choices we make to improve our health should benefit our environment, and decisions made in favor of the environment ultimately benefit our health.
The ultimate cure for our increasing chronic diseases probably does not lie in yet another drug or remedy. It instead will come with a change in our consciousness — a shift from viewing ourselves as isolated entities to understanding and fully embodying the knowledge that we are each an integral part of a magnificent whole. From this change in consciousness will come the needed changes in our actions. To become whole again is to recognize our holiness. Within this lies our health and our ability to heal.
Dr. Todd A. Mangum, MD
Dr. Mangum is a Family Practice physician utilizing functional and integrative medicine. He is the founder and medical director of Web of Life Wellness Center, where he has practiced since 1999.
In addition to reviewing a standard Western medical history, he conducts an extensive and comprehensive review of each patient’s current diet, sleep, supplements, exercise routines, home and work environments, habits, and lifestyle.
Diagnostic Approach
Dr. Mangum relies on a wide variety of medical lab tests. His toolkit includes far more comprehensive blood testing than is usually done by conventional Western medical practitioners, along with comprehensive digestive stool analysis, saliva testing, hair analysis, urine screens, and more.
Treatment Approach
Dr. Mangum’s treatment uses a combination of education, diet, nutrition, minerals, supplements, Chinese and Western herbs, bio-identical hormone therapy, acupuncture, massage, and Western allopathic medications when necessary.

Our Philosophy
At Web of Life, we believe healing happens when you feel heard, understood, and actively involved in your own care. Our approach is built on three principles:
Listen first. Every patient’s story is different. We take the time to understand your full history — the timeline, the patterns, what you’ve already tried, and what matters most to you.
Look deeper. Standard labs tell part of the story. We use comprehensive functional testing when appropriate to uncover root causes that conventional medicine often overlooks.
Partner with you. We don’t hand you a plan and send you on your way. We work alongside you, adjusting as you progress, answering questions, and celebrating your wins.
A Fee-for-Service Practice
We are a fee-for-service practice, which means we don’t bill insurance directly. This model allows us to spend the time each patient deserves without the constraints of insurance-driven visit lengths. We can provide documentation you may submit to your insurer for potential reimbursement. For current fee details, visit our policies page.
